Ahead of Aryan Khan's bail verdict on Wednesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) submitted more WhatsApp chats in court. “Police has found drug-related WhatsApp chats that are allegedly between Aryan Khan and a debut actress,” the ANI quoted the NCB in a tweet. However, the actress's name has not been revealed.

A special Mumbai court will pronounce its order on Aryan's bail plea at 2:45pm on Wednesday.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, who is currently lodged in the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai, was arrested on October 3. Aryan was arrested after the NCB raided a cruise ship and busted a drugs party off the coast of Mumbai. He was held under Section 8C, 20B, 27 read with 35 of the NDPS Act. Besides Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaaz Merchant, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra, Nupur Sarika, and Vikrant Chhokar were arrested from the cruise.

While seeking the custody of Aryan, Munmun and Arbaaz, the NCB had earlier said there was evidence to show a nexus between the arrested persons and suppliers and peddlers of drugs and banned narcotic substances regularly. Prima facie investigation, the NCB said, revealed that there is incriminating material in the form of WhatsApp chats and more.

Shah Rukh Khan has been receiving support from fans and celebrities. Twinkle Khanna, author and wife of actor Akshay Kumar, compared Aryan’s arrest to one of the episodes of Netflix’s popular show Squid Games. Citing the example from one of the show's episodes, she wrote on Instagram, “Each player is given ten marbles and must get their opponent’s marbles by competing in any game of their choosing. In this episode, one of the strongest candidates is badgered and ultimately bamboozled into losing his marbles. I seem to have misplaced mine as well when I read the news about Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s arrest.”

She added: “While his friend was apparently carrying 6 gm of charas, there is reportedly no evidence of possession by Aryan Khan. Yet, the young boy has been languishing in Arthur Road jail for almost two weeks now.”
