Kangana says she’s coming to save Bollywood with ‘Thalaivi’, confirms release on April 23

She said Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra are hiding during the crisis

With COVID-19 numbers rising again, many films have pushed release dates again. However, Kangana Ranaut-starrer Thalaivi will release in theatres on the scheduled date, the actress confirmed on Twitter. She also took a dig at Bollywood biggies Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra and said that they are hiding during this crisis.

She added that she is coming to rescue Bollywood with Thalaivi on April 23. “They did everything to throw me out of the industry, ganged up, harassed me today Bollywood ke thekedaars Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra are hiding, all big heroes are hiding but Kangana Ranaut with her team coming with 100cr budget film to save Bollywood,” Kangana tweeted.

She further said: “History might just write in golden letters the woman who was the outsider step child, was destined to be their saviour, you never know life has many ways of amusing us, if this happens, remember Bullywood chillar party never ever gang up on your Mother again.

Thalaivi, the biopic of former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha, also features Arvind Swami, Nassar, Bhagyashree, Raj Arjun, Poorna, Madhu Bala among others in significant parts. Thalaivi has been directed by A.L. Vijay,
