Two tweets of actress Kangana Ranaut were deleted by Twitter on Thursday, for ‘violation of rules on hate speech, according to reports’. "We have taken action on Tweets that were in violation of the Twitter Rules in line with our range of enforcement options," Twitter said in a statement.

However, it is not exactly clear what she had written in the now-deleted tweets.

On Tuesday, Kangana hit out at Amercian pop star Rihanna over her post on the ongoing farmers’ protests. Sharing an article about the internet being cut around New Delhi amid the ongoing farmers protests in India, Rihanna on Tuesday asked her Twitter followers, "Why aren't we talking about this". In response, Kangana Renault tweeted calling the farmers "terrorists" and Rihanna a "fool".

Kangana recently faced a brief suspension on Twitter after she tweeted about ‘beheading’ of producers Amazon Prime Video’s Tandav, that is at the centre of a controversy for allegedly offending Hindus.
