Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara will premiere on Disney + Hotstar at 7.30pm on Friday. The directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, the film also features Sanjana Sanghi, Swastika Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan and Jaaved Jaaferi.

The film will be available on Disney+ Hotstar in India and on Hotstar in USA, UK and Canada for subscribers and non-subscribers, in honour of Sushant’s memory.

Announcing the date and time, Chhabra wrote on Instagram: We want to make this even more special for everyone. Lock the date and time. Let's all watch it together, the premiere of the film, same time, different places (your homes) but as one audience in whole. This one for #SushantSinghRajput.

The music of the movie is composed by AR Rahman, and the maestro recently dedicated a musical tribute to Sushant.

Remembering Sushant, Chhabra had said in a statement earlier: "Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director, but was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be left alone to release this film."

Farah Khan, who choreographed the film’s title track, had earlier said she wanted the dance number to be a ‘one-shot’ video because she knew Sushant will be able to pull it off perfectly. Farah said that as a reward for the dance performance, Sushant had asked her for home-cooked food, which she brought for him.

The film is a remake of the popular Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars, based on author John Green’s book by the same name. The film was earlier titled Kizie Aur Manny.  Green had said he was excited about the Hindi adaptation and wanted to watch it. The Fault In Our Stars is based on the love relationship between two terminally ill patients.
