Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor said on Friday that he and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi have completed their 14-day quarantine period. He added that the three members of their house staff who had tested positive for COVID-19 last month are doing fine and have tested negative.

“Happy to share that while my daughters & I had always been tested negative, our 3 staff members who had tested positive for Covid19, have fully recovered & tested negative. Our 14 day home quarantine period has also ended & we look forward to starting afresh,” he tweeted.

He prayed for the speedy recovery of all people and urged the public to stay safe and follow government guidelines.

“My family and I would like to thank the Doctors, healthcare workers, BMC, Mumbai Police, State and Central Government for their help and support not just to us but to all across Maharashtra and India. Together we shall overpower Covid19 virus,” he wrote.

In May, their 23-year-old house help Charan Sahu, had tested positive for coronavirus. Later, two more members of their house staff tested positive.

In a statement, which his daughter actor Janhvi Kapoor posted on her Instagram page, he said, " I would like to inform you that our house help, Charan Sahu aged 23 years, has tested positive for COVID-19. He was unwell on Saturday evening and was sent for tests and kept in isolation. After receiving test report, our housing society authorities were informed and then accordingly the BMC, who immediately started the process of getting him into a quarantine centre."
