Actor Kalki Koechlin and her Israeli boyfriend Guy Hershberg became parents to a baby girl on Friday night, according to media reports. Kalki had announced that she and Hershberg, a classical pianist from Jerusalem, were expecting in September last year. The couple, however, is yet to confirm the news of the birth of their child.
The Bollywood actress had revealed, when she announced her pregnancy, that she would go for a water birth.
In an interview, Kalki had said that the baby will have a gender-neutral name. Throughout her pregnancy, Kalki gave updates and progress on her Instagram account, often delighting fans with her #notesfromapregnantdiary.
Kalki was previously married to director Anurag Kashyap. They got married in 2011 and divorced in 2015.
The actor made her debut in Bollywood with Kashyap's Dev D in 2009. Kalki has many great performances to her credit, including Shaitan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Margarita With A Straw and That Girl in Yellow Boots. She also featured in web series such as Made in Heaven and Netflix's Sacred Games 2.
