Pakistani singer Rabi Pirzada who has remained in the news recently after she 'threatened' Modi for the abrogation of Article 370, said she is quitting showbiz. She took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“Main Rabi Pirzada, showbiz se kinara kushi ikthyar karti hoon. Allah talah mere gunahon ko maaf kare aur mere haq mein logo ka dil naram kare. Watu Izzu Mantasha, Watu Zillu Mantasha. (I, Rabi Pirzada, am quitting showbiz. May Allah forgive my sins and soften the hearts of people in my favour. Allah honours those he is pleased with and disgraces those he is not happy with.), ” she wrote.

This announcement comes a few days after private photos and videos of Pirzada were leaked online, and she was massively trolled.

She had stirred controversy recently for her social media post in which she warned PM Modi of a suicide attack. In the photo that is going viral on social media, Pirzada can be seen wearing what appears to be a suicide attack vest. She captioned the image: "#ModiHitler i just wish huh. #kashmirkibeti”.

Last month, she had posted a short video clip on Twitter posing with a few snakes and alligators and threatened to unleash the reptiles on PM Modi for what he was doing to Kashmir.

The Punjab Wildlife Protection and Parks Department initiated action against Pirzada for violating the Wildlife Act by keeping wild animals as pets. A court in Lahore also reportedly issued an arrest warrant against her.
