Bollywood films have evolved with content that establishes connection with people and their experiences. Depicting the same with a poignant message enveloped with elements like, humour, action and romance testifies the film as a complete entertainer.
Ranveer Singh, whose recent releases like Simmba and Gully Boy have become the paradigms of a complete entertainer, is shooting stars with films that are out of the usual run of things. The actor, who is currently shooting for '83 to essay the role of India’s legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, announced his next with YRF titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The actor will be playing the role of a Gujarati in the film, which will be bankrolled by Maneesh Sharma, whose discovery Divyang Thakkar will pen and helm the film.
Speaking about the film, Ranveer Singh told media: "Jayeshbhai... is a film with a big heart. In its concept as well as in its appeal, it encompasses the broadest spectrum of the cinema-loving audience - it's a film for everyone. It is, in fact, a miracle script' that YRF found for me out of nowhere. The sheer brilliance of the writing compelled me to immediately green-light this film. Both humorous and poignant, Jayeshbhai... is right up there with the most solid on-paper material I've ever come across."
Having collaborated with India’s finest filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty, Zoya Akhtar and Kabir Khan, the actor has certainly earned the badge of the most bankable star of Bollywood.
