'Send nudes', man tells singer Chinmayi; she 'obliges'

Online space is hardly ever kind to celebrities. From trolls, abuses and criticism, to unsolicited pictures of private parts, celebrities, especially women, have seen it all. There are also those who are creepy enough demand nude pictures of celebrities.

Singer Chinmayi Sripada, who stirred a controversy after she accused veteran Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu of sexual harassment, has now come out revealing an experience of sexual harassment she faced online and how she responded to it. Taking to Twitter, she posted a screenshot of a man asking her for 'nudes' and her response.

Well, she did share the nudes with the man. But they were pictures of the shades of nude lipsticks. Nude lipsticks are those that look similar to skin tone.

According to a user, after that savage reply from the singer, the man deleted his social media accounts.

Chinmayi has been lauded for the fitting reply she had for the man.

After the controversy surrounding Vairamuthu, Chinmayi had said she would remember to slap Vairamuthu the next time she sees him, and that is probably the only justice she would be getting. She was responding to a tweet in connection to an incident where Kushboo slapped a man for misbehaving with her. A Twitter user had praised Kushboo's response and also appreciated people like Chinmayi for their brave acts. In a reply, Chinmayi wrote: “Sure. I‘ll remember to slap Mr Vairamuthu if at all I see him next. Looks like that’s the only justice I’ll get. I have the age and the guts now.”
