Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfiqar, who was part of the Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu starrer Baby, claimed that Bollywood has been tricking Pakistani artists and making them work in anti-Pakistan movies.

According to media reports, the actor, in an interview, claimed that Baby was an anti-Pakistan film, but he wasn't aware of it at the time of signing for the movie. Zulfiqar said he in fact asked the makers of the movie if the film had any anti-Pakistan content.

Zulfiqar said as he was not part of the initial half of the movie, he had no idea about the script and watched the movie only after it hit the theatres. After this experience, he decided not to work in Indian movies, he claimed. Zulfiqar further said Pakistani actors are not treated with respect in India.

He also cited the example of another Pakistani actor, Veena Malik, who courted controversy after a photo shoot, to claim that Bollywood has caused trouble to Pakistani artists. Malik had drawn flak for her photo shoot for the cover of an Indian magazine with militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba issuing a threat against her.
