Actress Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are facing widespread public buzz due to their recent divorce speculations. The rumours started taking shape after several fans noticed that both parties had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Shortly after the unfollowing gained public attention, Suraj Nambiar was alleged to have deactivated his Instagram account. Fans also claim that Disha Patani, Mouni’s close friend, had unfollowed Suraj on Instagram before his account got deactivated.

Industry reports by ABP News show Saas Bahu Aur Saazish accuse Suraj of allegedly cheating on Mouni for public fame and using her for his own financial benefit. But none of these allegations has been confirmed yet.

As of now, the actress has posted a story on Instagram requesting the media to give them space and privacy and to not spread any false narratives.

Mouni Roy is among those very few Indian actresses who have had a successful career shift from TV serials to Bollywood movies.

She had gained immense popularity through her role in Naagin, and later she stepped into the realm of films through Brahmāstra: Part One - Shiva.

This shift brought her more visibility and chiselled her image as one of the most sought-after faces in the entertainment industry. Later on, she became the face of several brand endorsements like Amazon Prime, Aspect Bullion, Blackzone Mobiles, Bryan & Candy, and Ivana Jewels.

This transition has undoubtedly boosted her financial status, with the actress having a net worth of around ₹40-41 crore, Mid-Day reported. Her primary sources of income are from acting in films and television, brand endorsements, live stage events, dance performances, music videos and social media monetisation. Reports claim that she charges around ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore for films, special appearances and selected projects.

She also owns a luxury apartment in an exclusive residential area in Bandra, which costs around ₹25 crore, as per reports. Apart from her main residence, she is also said to own another property in Mumbai, one of the most expensive real estate markets in India.

A luxury automobile enthusiast, Mouni Roy also has a collection of several high-end cars in her garage, reportedly consisting of European luxury vehicles like Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Range Rover Velar (valued around ₹1.5 crore, ₹67 lakh, and ₹1.38 crore respectively) and a BMW 5-Series.

In addition to her on-screen career, Mouni Roy is a successful entrepreneur, owning a restaurant chain called “Badmaash” with outlets in Andheri (Mumbai), Bengaluru and Kolkata. She also co-founded Ultimate Gurus, a global education platform with her husband in 2022. The About webpage of Ultimate Gurus is currently down.

Despite the ongoing rumours about her personal life, Mouni Roy continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, balancing her acting, entrepreneurship, and brand endorsements, along with maintaining a strong public presence.
