When the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bihar, came out with its list of candidates to be recruited to the post of junior engineer (JE) on Tuesday, there was a name that surprised all—Sunny Leone. And what was more surprising was the fact that Sunny Leone topped the list, which was available on phed.bih.nic.in.

As per the list, Sunny Leone scored a highly impressive 98.5 points. According to the list of duly registered candidates, Sunny Leone is a 27-year-old woman whose father's name is Leona Leone.
According to media reports, as many as 17,000 aspirants applied for the post. There were 214 vacancies.
The shortlisted candidates reportedly will have to produce documents and certificates to verify the details they have provided. The candidates are given a window to correct the information they have offered. This facility will be available till February 24, 2019.
It is not yet clear if Sunny Leone (other than the cine actor, of course) is an actual person or if someone was playing a prank.
PHED joint secretary Ashok Kumar told the Indian Express that this could be a mischief played by someone and added that the list was uploaded based on the information they had received.
