After an eventful visit to Kochi in Kerala that drew massive crowds and brought traffic to a standstill, Sunny Leone fans in the state were eagerly waiting her next visit. Sunny Leone was supposed to perform at a special Valentine's Day event in Kochi. However, in a major disappointment to fans, Sunny Leone shared on social media on Wednesday that she will not be attending the event on Thursday.

She said she was backing out of the event due to disagreements with the promoter. Taking to Twitter, she crossed out her image on the poster of the event.

In her tweet, she mentioned she will be in Kochi for another event on March 2.

She had earlier visited Kochi to inaugurate a mobile phone showroom,. The massive turnout of fans on one of the major roads of the city, just to catch a glimpse, took even the police by surprise. Hundreds of male fans clambered over barricades and even metro pillars to catch a glimpse of Sunny Leone. The police had to resort to lathi charge to restrain frenzied fans.

Floored by the response, Sunny Leone posted a picture of the crowd and captioned it: “No words...Can't thank the people of Kochi. Was so overwhelmed by the love & support. Never will forget Gods own Country Kerala! Thank you(sic)”.

At the time the state was reeling from floods, she had made a generous donation for the state. “@dirrty99 (Daniel Webber) and I hopefully will able to feed a few of the many people in Kerala that need a warm meal with 1200 kg’s of rice and daal. I know it’s not a dent in what actually needs to be sent and I wish I could do more,” (sic.) Leone wrote in the Instagram photo-caption.
