Priyanka Chopra's FBI drama series Quantico will not be renewed for a fourth season as several shows faced the axe on Friday.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Quantico has been averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic.

Priyanka Chopra made her US television debut with Quantico, playing the role of Alex Parrish. Currently into its third season, Quantico first premiered in 2015.

In what is being called a TV bloodbath, a number of shows were cancelled. Among them are Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick, Marvel series Inhumans, Deception, The Crossing, Designated Survivor, Lucifer, and The Last Man on Earth.

However, NBC confirmed that it has picked up the popular Brooklyn Nine-Nine for season six after massive outrage on social media.
