Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh sought the collective capability, capacity, and commitment of all commanders to take the Indian Air Force (IAF) to greater heights.

During the recently-held Commanders' Conference of Western Air Command (WAC) of the IAF, for which he was the chief guest, CAS Singh interacted with the commanders and discussed the need to pursue training to ensure the capability to fight and win multi-domain warfare.

The theme of the two-day conference was 'Bharatiya Vayu Sena - Sashakt, Saksham, Atmanirbhar'.

CAS Singh emphasised the need to achieve focused progress in various areas, including increasing operational capability through better training and planning, early operationalisation of newly inducted equipment, safety and security, and nurturing leaders by empowering individuals at all levels to become a future-ready and cohesive force.

The CAS complimented Western Air Command for being the first responders to calls for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), both within India and abroad.

He observed that the Command maintains high operational excellence to ensure an 'always ready, formidable fighting force', and praised it for always keeping the core values of IAF, 'Mission, Integrity and Excellence.'

CAS Singh was received by Air Marshal PM Sinha, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, WAC, at the event and was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honour on his arrival.
