Air India and food ordering and delivery platform Zomato on Thursday announced a new partnership which would benefit users who opt to link their Maharaja Club account on the Zomato app.
According to an official release, the partnership offers exclusive benefits to users who become part of the deal that looks to integrate Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty programme with Zomato’s food delivery platform. The release confirmed that the partnership deal is effective immediately and benefits awaiting Zomato users who link their Maharaja Club account on the Zomato app include:
- Maharaja Points on Zomato transactions: Users will earn 2% Maharaja Points on all food delivery transactions above ₹499 on the Zomato app.
- Welcome Bonus for new Maharaja Club members: New users enrolling in Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty programme and linking their accounts via Zomato will receive a bonus of 2,000 Maharaja Points upon completion of their first flight activity with Air India (redeemable for future travel rewards).
- Complimentary ticket voucher: Every day, one lucky member stands a chance to win a complimentary one-way Economy Class ticket voucher -- valid for booking and travel within six months.
- Complimentary 3-month Zomato Gold: Complimentary three-month Zomato Gold membership is offered when your account is linked while existing Zomato Gold members get an additional three months added to their current membership.

What you’ll need -- An active Zomato account (app or website) and Maharaja Club ID
Steps:
- Log in to your Zomato account
- Open the Zomato app or website and sign in with your credentials.
- Link your Maharaja Club ID
- Go to Profile → Partner Rewards. Enter your Maharaja Club ID in the Partner Rewards field and save/confirm to link the accounts.
- Start ordering and earning
- Place orders as you normally would while signed in to the linked Zomato account. Eligible orders will earn Maharaja Club points.
- Wait for points to appear
- Points earned from an order will be reflected in your Maharaja Club account within 24 hours after the order is delivered.
