IT services major Infosys, on Monday, said its chief financial officer (CFO) Nilanjan Roy has resigned. Insider Jayesh Sanghrajka is set to succeed him.

Roy's resignation will be effective from March 31, 2024.

According to media reports, Roy said he decided to step down to pursue his personal aspirations outside the company.

"I am delighted to announce that Jayesh will take over as chief financial officer. As Deputy CFO, he has been leading multiple portfolios in the finance function for several years now and his depth of experience and knowledge will serve us well to take the function to greater heights,” Salil Parekh, CEO & MD, Infosys said.

“I would also like to express my deep appreciation for Nilanjan for ably leading the function over the last five years and wish him the very best for his future endeavours,” he added, reports Moneycontrol.

Sanghrajka has spent more than 18 years at Infosys in two stints and has been the deputy CFO of Infosys Group since 2015.

The IT sector companies, including Wipro and TCS, has been witnessing several high-level exits in the recent past. A few days ago, Wipro announced "changes" to its chief growth office (CGO) and said incumbent Stephanie Trautman will step down from her role with effect from December 31, 2023.
