Noted social media content creator Prem Bhati died in a motorcycle accident in the Mohone area of Kalyan early Saturday. Prem Bhati, 30, lost his life after he reportedly lost control of his bike on a gravel-laden road.
The accident reportedly occurred around 2:30 am when Bhati was on his way home after dropping his wife at his in-laws'. He suffered severe head injuries in the fall and was rushed by passers-by to a nearby hospital. Sadly, the doctors could not save his life.
Prem Bhati decided to become a full-time content creator while his family ran a salon in Kalyan. Marathi-language media reports said the young man had 3 million YouTube subscribers and around 84,000 Instagram followers.
The passing of the talented youngster has caused a public uproar over the terrible condition of roads in the region. Road repairs not happening on time is taking the lives of innocent citizens, the protestors pointed out.
The accident occurred due to gravel and potholes spread on the road. A case of culpable homicide should be registered against the responsible contractor and the concerned officials and strict action should be taken against them, afitators reportedly demanded.
