The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the class 10th result 2020 on Wednesday. Students can check their CBSE class 10th results in the official websites cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal confirmed that the CBSE class 10 results have been announced in a tweet on Wednesday.

“Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers! @cbseindia29 has announced the results of Class X and can be accessed at http://cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, student’s health & quality education are our priority (sic),” Pokhriyal tweeted.

This year, the overall pass percentage of CBSE class 10th results is 91.46 per cent, with 93.31 per cent girls successfully clearing the board exams as against boys with 90.14 per cent.

According to reports, Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram has emerged as the best performing district with 99.28 per cent, followed by Tamil Nadu’s Chennai with 98.95 per cent and Karnataka’s Bengaluru with 98.23 per cent.

How to check CBSE 10th Result 2020:

1. Visit the CBSE official website to check class 10th results—cbseresults.nic.in

2. Click on the link for CBSE class 10th result.

3. Enter your roll number and details.

4. Your CBSE class 10th result will be displayed on screen.

5. Download and take a printout of your CBSE class 10th results for future reference.

The board exam results are based on students’ performance in previous examinations and internal marks. However, class 10 students will not be given the option to retake tests to improve their scores this year.

Over 18 lakh students had registered to appear for the CBSE class 10th board exams.

Those who are unable to access the official website can also check their CBSE class 10th results through mobile apps such as DigiLocker and Umang.
