In another case of moral policing by religious fundamentalists, India's star cricketer Mohammed Shami was trolled and abused on Facebook after he posted a few family photos on the social networking site.
The trollers, upset over the outfit of Shami's wife Hasin Jahan, sought to remind them of their religion and questioned why she was not wearing a hijab. A lot of comments came under the photos lambasted Jahan for choosing to wear a sleeveless gown.
Shami on Monday took to Twitter to hit back the detractors.

Several others also have come in support of Shami, prominent of them being his colleagues in the Indian team Mohammed Kaif and Ravindra Jadeja.
“The comments are really really Shameful. Support Mohammed Shami fully. There are much bigger issues in this country. Hope sense prevails,” tweeted Kaif.
The 26-year-old, widely regarded as one of India's best pacers, has struggled with injuries in the last couple of years.
