Size does matter
The expression “Bigger is Better” is a pretty decent guideline when it comes to television. Whether you’re looking for a basic or high-performance TV, the biggest factor in your decision will probably be screen size. If you are given an option to choose between a smaller TV with smart features and a simple bigger TV, it would be wise to opt for the bigger size for the same price which builds an immersive experience. if your room can accommodate a wide screen television, no other feature should be given more emphasis.

Larger screen are easier on your eyes, as more of your field of view is taken up with the roughly uniform brightness of the screen. In an otherwise dark room, your pupils are also more naturally adjusted to the amount of light thanks with a bigger screen.

Get the Right Connections

Different connections are essential to make your TV compatible with a larger number of audio and video sources. When buying a television it is important provides enough video connection for the foreseeable future. The most important input is HDMI, which supports almost all major forms of digital video sources including Blu-ray players, game consoles, set-top boxes, cameras, camcorders, phones, tablets, and PCs through a single cable. It's the best way to stream 1080p video from your devices to your screen with one cable and will be the main way you connect your sources of entertainment to your TV.

Another important connectivity option to look out for is the USB Flash Drive support which allows you to directly access and view media for your Portable HDD, Flash Drives and any other USB Device.

Also, ensure that the ports are easily accessible; ideally, the ports should not be facing the wall. Such an arrangement makes it hard to reach the connectivity options once you mount the TV on your wall.

Do you need a Smart-TV?

Smart TVs are one of the first and easiest devices you can add to your living room to start to turn your house into a smart home Obviously, to access the extra features which a smart TV offers, an internet connection will be required. Many smart televisions feature an Ethernet port on the back, allowing you to plug it directly into your home broadband router.
