I won't apologise, why should I, asks 'unruly' Shiv Sena MP

He may have kicked up a storm and has continued to occupy the news space for all wrong reasons, but Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad, who assaulted an Air India staffer after he was forced to travel economy class on a flight though he held an open business class ticket, does not feel the need to offer an apology.

According to ANI, an unrepentant Gaikwad went on to demand that the victim apologise to him. "I will not apologize, why should I? First ask him (AI victim) to apologize then we will see," he reportedly said.

Gaikwad claimed that mistake was with the AI staffer. He said he would be protected by the party even if there is a case against him in connection with the incident.

His comments come even as Air India 'blacklisted' him for his unruly behaviour.

Gaikwad had refused to disembark from the flight at New Delhi airport for an hour, hurled abuses, indulged in violent and unruly behaviour and even tried to physically fling out the staffer from the aircraft.
