One of the hotly discussed topics after the fifth season of the hugely popular TV series Game of Thrones ended in a cliffhanger with the murder of Jon Snow was if he would return in the sixth season.
The makers of the show David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, author of the series A Song of Ice and Fire on which the show is based George R. R. Martin, Kit Harington who played Snow and even Maisie Williams had, time and again, reiterated that Snow won't return. Neither the fans of the book, who seemed to have the answer to everything else, could offer any sort of help as Martin is yet to come out with the next book.
After the killing of Snow by his own fellowmen, there were plenty of fan theories about how Snow would return. It turns out one of the theories could possibly be true as HBO released a poster for Season 6 with only the bloodied face of Snow.
Is this a cruel joke that HBO wants to play on the fans? Only time can tell.
