Andhra Pradesh CM embarks on two-day visit to New Delhi

    Amaravati, July 15 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu embarked on a two-day visit to New Delhi on Tuesday to meet Union Ministers, officials, and to attend former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao's memorial event, an official said.
    The chief minister departed from Gannavaram Airport by 10 am on Tuesday and is expected to arrive in New Delhi around 12 noon, the official told PTI.
    At 1 pm on Tuesday, he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah, said an official press release issued earlier.
    At 2:30 pm he is scheduled to meet the managing director of Delhi Metro to discuss proposed metro rail projects in Andhra Pradesh, followed by an address on former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao at 3:30 pm at Murti Marg.
    Later, the CM is scheduled to meet Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at 7 pm.
    On Wednesday, Naidu is expected to meet Union Minister for Labour and Employment Mansukh L Mandaviya at 10 am, followed by a meeting with Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil at 2:30 pm in the Jal Shakti Bhavan, said the press release.
    Later at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, the Chief Minister will meet Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
    "He will stay overnight in Delhi on July 16 and return to Amaravati on 17th morning, departing from Delhi at 9:30 am," the press release added.
