To a question, he replied that the police would investigate in other angle if someone complained about abetment. "Only then we will enquire if he has been threatened. In his mail the man has confessed that he had swindled Rs 40 crore and he agreed to repay the sum after disposing of the land he had bought with the misappropriated money," the Commissioner said.
On the confiscation of narcotics following the arrest of persons involved in a drunken brawl at a pub in Nungambakkam, Arun said the police were investigating the "backward and forward linkages" in the case in which 27 persons have been arrested so far.
