New Delhi, Nov 5 (PTI) Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) on Thursday said that it has signed 11 pacts with industry partners to develop an industrial park in Rajasthan's Bhilwara, reinforcing its plan to create a dedicated downstream zinc manufacturing hub.

Under the agreement, the partners have expressed their intent to establish manufacturing, engineering and service operations at the proposed park, linked to zinc-based and allied value chains where Hindustan Zinc will extend ecosystem support to the proposed operations.

This represents an important step towards converting the industrial park vision into potential investments, downstream manufacturing capacity and a broader zinc-based industrial ecosystem in Rajasthan, HZL said in a statement.

The pacts were signed with companies like Gainwell Commosales Private Limited, Epiroc Mining India Private Limited, Sai Deepa Rock Drills Pvt Ltd, Shree Nakoda Infrasteel Pvt Ltd, Suryakiran Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd and J.G. Chemicals Limited.

Strategically located near Hindustan Zinc's operations at Chanderiya, Dariba and Debari, the park is expected to attract investments across galvanising, die-casting, zinc alloys, zinc oxide, wire and advanced zinc applications, supporting industrial growth, employment generation and regional economic development in Rajasthan.

Hindustan Zinc continues its consultations with potential investors and stakeholders to scale up the park in a phased manner.
