Ratan Tata transformed a fragmented bureaucratic empire into a modern conglomerate

Tata group’s annual turnover was just about 4 billion US dollars when he took over in 1991. It was 100 billion dollars when he retired in 2012. And he has a left a legacy that cannot be measured by counting zeroes.
