This was an election for the soul of India. And, if this party called Congress, which says it stands for constitutional values, which says it stands for secular India, cannot put up resistance, cannot put up a fight against the BJP, it has no reason to exist.
If the results are in Narendra Modi’s favour on May 23, just one request to the opposition. Please, please spend the next five years improving yourself rather than hating Modi.
I believe India, as a nation, is a coalition. It is a coalition of shared values, of interests that may be in competition, but must still be served. It is a coalition of different mindsets with different cultural values.
The enthusiasm shown by voters in the mega festival of democracy is an indication of the mature democracy of India. If you work in the interest of the public and the interest of the country, you will be able to sustain in public life. Or else there will be no place for you.
