A mid-air scuffle broke out between two passengers on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from London to Bangladesh, causing panic among other passengers.
A video of the incident circulating on social media shows an argument between passengers quickly escalating into a physical scuffle.
According to a report by Dhaka Tribune, the incident began with a heated argument between the two men in the aircraft. The argument soon escalated into a physical altercation, causing a commotion in the cabin, it added. One passenger's T-shirt appears to be torn in the video.
Cabin crew and fellow travellers had to intervene to break up the fight. The footage also shows others on board reacting to the sudden disturbance inside the aircraft.
The incident has raised concerns over passenger safety and in-flight conduct. While the trigger for the brawl remains unclear, it is not yet known whether airline or law enforcement authorities have taken action against those involved.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Mahbubuddin Ahmed told Dhaka Tribune that he was not aware of the incident when contacted.
