About 10 hours of surveillance footage included in last weeks Epstein file dump, showed convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell going about her daily routine in her NYC jail Cell.

The video was released along with the 3 million files released by the DOJ last week.

The child groomer is seen in the clip living a mundane life inside the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn.

The footage is dated July 1, 2020, and the time is just before 2 pm. Maxwell, who was 63, is seen cleaning something in the sink near her bed. She is then seen straightening out her bedsheet and folding her orange prison jumpsuit. She then lies down and begins reading a book.

The video was reshared on the internet just as Maxwell is scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee on February 9. her attroneys, however says that she plans to plead the fifth.

She is currently serving a 20-year-federal prison sentence in Texas for conspiring with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse minors. She denied her charges and alleged that she was made into a scapegoat after Epstein died in jail in 2019.

The release of the Epstein files comes amid a time when Maxwell is trying to fight her guilty verdict.

The deposition will be held in a closed session and conducted virtually. Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the committee’s ranking member, said Maxwell is receiving special treatment

Several materials including photographs, emails, and videos released with the Jeffrey Epstein files, directly involve Maxwell.

One of the documents that has garnered public attention was a 2015 email from Maxwell to Epstein about a widely circulated and debated photograph of Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre. Others include emails she received from Melania Trump, which were heavily redacted, and emails between Maxwell and Casey Wasserman, who is the chairman of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
