In a new turn of events, Ukraine dropped fire-spewing 'Dragon Drones' at Russian-held positions in the occupied Kharkiv region on Saturday. The fire burned hundreds of trees and reportedly damaged some Russian military vehicles as well.
The video footages of the fire-spewing drones were shared on Telegram. The footage showed a low-flying drone dropping thermite- A mixture of aluminium powder and iron oxide that burns at a very high temperature.

"Strike Drone are our wings of vengeance, bringing fire straight from the sky! They become a real threat to the enemy, burning his positions with an accuracy that no other weapon can achieve. When our "Vidar" works - the Russian woman will never sleep," the 60th Mechanised Brigade of Ukraine noted while sharing the drone footage.
These weapons are considered one of the most dangerous in the world.
Unlike conventional bombs, thermites are generated at intense heat. It is widely used in wielding steel, and iron. Discovered in the 1890s, thermites were originally used to weld railroad tracks. Thermites can easily burn the vegetation providing cover and in many cases kill or disable the troops as well.
Both nations have used deadly weapons in the war. Reportedly, Russia used 22mm Grad 9M22S rockets from the Soviet-era B-21 multi-rocket launcher system with a thermit warhead.
Last year, Russia used thermite bombs over the eastern Ukrainian town of Vuhledar after the defeat in a tank battle.
