Even as the manhunt for pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh continued on Sunday, a few videos going viral on Twitter showed pro-Khalistan activists replacing the Indian flag with their flag at the Indian high commission in London.

Sources in India's diplomatic establishment said India summoned the senior-most British diplomat in Delhi following the vandalism at the Indian high commission in London.

High commissioner to India Alex Ellis reportedly condemned "the disgraceful acts today against the people and premises of the Indian High commission" and called it "totally unacceptable".

Meanwhile, Punjab Police, on Sunday, conducted flag marches and searches across Punjab in their manhunt for radical preacher , arresting 34 more supporters and shifting four men in custody to a jail in far-off Assam.

The elusive preacher, however, gave the police a slip and escaped their dragnet when his cavalcade was intercepted in Jalandhar district, even as authorities stepped up security at several places in the northern state.
