Prince Harry, in his autobiography Spare, Prince Harry described a physical attack by his brother William. The Prince of Wales during a confrontation at their London home in 2019, reportedly called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parrot(ing of) the press narrative” about his American wife. The relationship between the brothers fell apart over Harry's marriage to actor Meghan Markle.

The confrontation escalated until William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me," Harry writes.

Harry has written the attack resulted in a visible injury to his back. The book, which will be published worldwide next week, is likely to spark outrage against the British royal family.

Harry then asked his older brother to leave, who looked regretful and apologised. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, after leaving the Royal family, have caused quite a stir.

Following a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, they talked extensively about the 'institution' and the harassment they, mainly Meghan, faced at the hands of the British press in a Netflix docuseries last month. Post their split from the family, Meghan also started a podcast on Spotify called 'Archetypes'. The couple moving to the US after the split has led to the British press portraying them as selfish.

The latest revelation comes as the family gears up for King Charles III's coronation in May following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September. In a recent interview with ITV in the UK and CBS in the United States, Harry said, "I would like to get my father back. I would like to get my brother back." He said he wants "a family, not an institution."
