A Michigan man had planned a romantic proposal for his girlfriend by the Lake Michigan in Grand Haven. But things turned comical quickly when he slipped and fell right into the lake right before he asked her to marry him.
As per a report in the Daily Star, Logan Jackson, got a ‘yes’ from Maria Gugliotta when he presented her with the ring.
In the TikTok video, Jackson is seen walking towards his girlfriend, who was petting her dog. When he slips into the water, she is seen helping him out.
“He fell so hard he popped up with a ring!” Maria Gugliotta wrote on Facebook while sharing the video on July 4. “I'm so excited but first I have to stop laughing”.
The video quickly collected thousands of views and amused reactions since it was posted.
“Most memorable proposal,” wrote one person in the comments section, while another said: “He really did fall for her.” Another comment read, “This is amazing”.
The clip started with a voice saying, “Yes, that's me, you're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.” It then shows those who are watching what happened just a few moments ago.
