Billy Bob Thornton may have nailed being Bad Santa in the movie of the same name, but this man in the US is living the role. According to Colorado police, a white-bearded older male is throwing cash at passers-by and shouting 'Merry Christmas'.
The man with the white beard robbed the Academy Bank two days before Christmas after threatening workers with an unidentified weapon and leaving with an unknown amount of cash.

"He started throwing money out of the bag and then said, 'Merry Christmas!" witness Dion Pascale said.
Police have identified the man as David Wayne Oliver, aged 65. He was arrested near Starbucks. The police also said that there was no indication that Oliver was armed at the time of his arrest.
Some of the passers-by attempted to return some of the stolen money to the bank, witnesses said.
