West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves scripted history after becoming the first bowler in recorded Test history to deliver five consecutive wicket maidens during the opening Test against Pakistan in Trinidad.
Greaves bettered the four consecutive wicket maidens that former England fast bowler Stuart Broad secured in a Test against South Africa at Johannesburg in January 2016.

A versatile right-handed batting all-rounder, Greaves previously represented the West Indies Under-19 team at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup in Australia.
His all-round abilities were highlighted when he made his One Day International (ODI) debut for West Indies against Ireland in 2022. He earned a place in the West Indies squad for the series against Australia in January 2024.
"When I came on captain Roston Chase just said 'continue to be disciplined in what you are doing' and to see if I can get some wickets for the team," Greaves said, crediting captain Roston Chase for encouraging him to remain patient and disciplined.
After reaching 244/3, it looked like Pakistan were going to make a comfortable win, with captain Shan Masood leading the charge through a superb century. Till Greaves dismissed the former skipper.
Then followed a series of wickets after the fall of Shan Masood, followed by Aamer Jamal, Ali Usman, Mohammad Rizwan, and Mohammad Abbas, registering his maiden five-wicket haul in the longest format of the game.
"To get five wickets for the first time in Test cricket, I'm really happy, but there's still a lot of work to do in the game," he said.
