Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are disinterested in selling Warren Zaïre-Emery to Manchester United this summer as they want to keep their midfield core untouched, a new report said.
Frenchman Zaïre-Emery was said to be at the top of Manchester United's midfield wish list after they decided against breaking the bank to strengthen their squad. Carlos Baleba, Sandro Tonali and Adam Wharton were all ruled out by the former Premier League champions for being too costly.
For 20-year-old Warren Zaïre-Emery, who has already won two UEFA Champions Leagues with PSG, United were ready to launch a €60 million (£51m) raid. However, PSG will not just reject the bid but put an astronomical figure on their academy product, whose current deal runs until 2029.
