Apart from the confirmed interest from the Saudi Pro League (RSL), Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is also being tracked by PSG and Bayern Munich, a new report has claimed.
Bruno Fernandes, who has already established himself as a legend at Old Trafford despite the trophy-shy nature of the decade, has only a year remaining on his current contract. While United have openly declared that their captain is also their most important player, the facts that he is a high earner in the squad and has entered his thirties may ultimately result in his exit, the report added.
All things considered, United may give priority to building a team using promising players in their early twenties in the hope of becoming a dominating force by the time they hit their prime. This means they should sell their 31-year-old playmaker for good money. The former Premier League champions will listen to offers in the region of £87m for Fernandes, CaughtOffside said in a report. However, no teams have opened talks with the English club for the Portuguese international yet, the report added.
In December 2025, Bruno Fernandes told a media outlet back home that the United higher-ups treat players in their 30s like "furniture". He added that while he is paid well, the feeling is "like being on thin ice." The midfielder said that he had the chance to join a team that would have offered him a trophy-laden season. He stayed because of loyalty, yet now Manchester United are prioritising money over anything else. The directors want him to join Saudi side Al-Hilal, but they are not stating it to his face because the manager wants him to stay, he said.

Both PSG and Bayern are capable of providing Bruno with a league trophy in Europe. The likelihood of the former Sporting CP star playing alongside Harry Kane in Germany is exciting. The experienced midfielder getting to join forces with countryman João Neves in France for the Parisians is good news for Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. with the FIFA World Cup fast approaching.
Englishmen Wharton or Anderson could potentially serve as direct replacements for Fernandes, who is often rated among United’s best signings in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era. Another player often linked to a move to Old Trafford is Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest.
Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United in January 2020 and has scored 104 goals for the Red Devils from 315 appearances across all competitions.
