Days after reports claimed that Manchester United are tracking Netherlands winger Crysencio Summerville, a new report claimed that they are tracking one of his teammates who is also part of the ongoing FIFA World Cup campaign.

THE WEEK had reported last week, citing European sports reports, that West Ham winger Summerville had opened talks with United. He could get a deal valid until 2031, and the talks would resume after Marcus Rashford is sold and the Premier League side have a sufficient sum to make a new signing.

Meanwhile, Summerville's colleague in the Dutch attacking ranks, Brian Brobbey, has also impressed the Red Devils, a new report claimed. Fresh from claiming a brace against Sweden for the Oranje in a group-stage contest, the Sunderland striker is in red-hot form and United believe the youngster could work as the best backup for Benjamin Šeško.

Brobbey joined his national team after an impressive season with Sunderland. He managed seven goals and an assist for the English side—a crucial contribution to the return of European competition to the Stadium of Light.

The 24-year-old with Ghanaian roots had managed 56 goals and 24 assists for Ajax, which ensured his arrival in England. According to available information, Sunderland are in no mood to sell the striker following their Europa League entry. Most young strikers available in the market may cost more, and the sum is cheap when compared to the market price of some of the club's long-term interests like Victor Osimhen. The fact that Brobbey comes with Premier League experience means he meets another parameter that delights United. Atlético Madrid could pose a serious challenge as it has now become almost certain that Julián Álvarez will leave.
