Manchester United want Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville after Mateus Fernandes: Report
Both Summerville and Fernandes are West Ham United stars who are expected to leave the club this summer
Manchester United are in discussions to sign West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, who has reportedly been offered a contract until 2031 with an extension option, and West Ham are seeking approximately £50 million for the 24-year-old Dutch international. The potential transfer is contingent on Manchester United raising funds through player sales, possibly including Marcus Rashford, to finance their summer transfer targets, and is further complicated by the fact that Summerville's current contract runs until 2029, though West Ham may be compelled to sell due to their relegation. Additionally, Manchester United are also pursuing Summerville's West Ham teammate, Mateus Fernandes, who is reportedly eager to make the move.

Manchester United have opened talks to sign West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, who is currently part of the Dutch FIFA World Cup contingent. There is a possibility of two players leaving the Hammers for United, as Michael Carrick's side are also pursuing his teammate Mateus Fernandes.
"Manchester United have opened talks to try to sign West Ham’s winger Crysencio Summerville. MUFC have offered to the Dutch player a contract until 2031 with the option to 2032," Italian journalist Nicolò Schira reportedly said on X.
As per The Athletic, West Ham will demand around £50 million for the 24-year-old winger, who scored for the Oranje against Japan in the opening World Cup fixture. Marcus Rashford's possible sale could hold the key to the deal, as United are looking to make multiple sales to raise the funds needed for summer transfers.
While multiple sources have already confirmed that Mateus Fernandes is keen on joining United from the relegated side, Summerville's intentions remain largely unreported.
A Feyenoord academy product, Summerville signed for West Ham from Leeds United in 2024. His current deal will only expire in 2029, but West Ham will have to make multiple sales in light of being relegated to the second tier. PSG and AS Roma were also linked to the winger in recent times.
The Netherlands drew against Japan on Sunday, despite leading twice. Crysencio Summerville's tally in the 64th minute gave the Dutch a 2-1 advantage a few minutes before the second-half hydration break, but Japan eventually tied the score in the 89th minute.
