Since the last two days, the weather forecast for match day has indicated an average precipitation percentage of 50-60 percent from afternoon till night.

Sri Lankan venues have the best groundstaff in the world and their drainage methods generally help to ensure a game, even it a shortened one during rainy days. However, if the rain doesn't relent, there isn't much even they can do. But, the weather forecast has this characteristic of changing on the go and there are some interesting updates from Colombo.

4 pm - 49 percent
