On Thursday (November 27), BBC Sport made a huge announcement regarding their upcoming collab with Spain's major league La Liga. According to the posts on social media, the broadcasting giant had mentioned about streaming La Liga games for the next two years. However, does the deal mean what the fans think?

"Following the announcement of our recent deal with the Bundesliga, we're thrilled to now bring La Liga clips to BBC Sport's digital platforms," said Kay-Jelski through the organization's official statement.
"These additions strengthen our already extensive global football offering and allow us to showcase the stories, rivalries and standout talent from across Europe."
So, what does this mean? There won't be any live streaming of La Liga games on BBC Sport, which is what a large section of fans have interpreted this deal to be. While BBC Sport will have access to La Liga footage, it will be limited to match highlights and other non-live clips.
Earlier, fans had negligible access to Spanish league football but now, that will no longer be the case. As mentioned in the statement, BBC Sport already has access to Germany's Bundesliga. With the latest La Liga deal, they are aiming high, especially with a World Cup scheduled next year.
