Filmmaker Palash Muchhal and star cricketer Smriti Mandhana are set to marry on November 23. The pair has been grabbing headlines for quite sometime now, considering their extensive period of courtship. On Friday (November 21), Palash took to Instagram to reveal his proposal to Smriti.
In what was a truly fairytale moment, Palash chose the iconic DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai - venue where India won the 2025 World Cup - to carry out his proposal mission. Clad in grey blazers and black pant, the groom-to-be looked at his suave best, as did India's vice-captain who sizzled in a classy red dress.
The starting of the video shows Smriti walking blindfold, guided by Palash as he takes her towards the stadium to unveil the big surprise. Once the couple has made it to the center pitch, Palash removes the blindfold and gets on his knees to propose to Smriti who accepts the official proposal with glee.
Palash had clearly done his homework as he had made arrangements for the bouquet and also had a professional video team by his side to capture the moment from the best possible camera angles. The video concludes with the couple posing for a variety of photographs with Smriti flashing the ring with a big grin.
