Not long after it was reported that Real Madrid are willing to offer Paris St Germain (PSG) €50 million in cash along with their attacker Rodrygo Goes in exchange for Vitinha, a fresh report has claimed that the Portuguese midfielder is willing to join the Spanish side.

Vitinha, who finished third in the Ballon d'Or, is in scintillating form and is rated among the most technically supreme midfielders of the generation. The former Wolves star is central to Enrique's plans but is willing to join Real Madrid, a Spanish media report said. As per the report, the PSG gaffer's tactical criteria and demands have not always impressed the Portuguese international, which is among the reasons for him thinking about a PSG exit.

Vitinha to leave PSG?

The 25-year-old has huge respect for Luis Enrique but their relationship is not ideal as things stand, Fichajes said in the report. Xabi Alonso would love to have a player who is world-class in when it comes to the ability to control the pace of the game and Vitinha fits the bill perfectly. A technically eloquent midfielder who can dictate the tempo of the game and dribble past opposition lines easily when needed is the missing piece that his squad lacks, Alonso thinks. Roping in Vitinha from PSG could resolve this dilemma.

Vitinha arrived at the French capital from Porto in 2022. The Portuguese midfielder initially signed a five-year deal with the club but inked a two-year extension on February 7, 2025, after having a brilliant run under Enrique. It is said that the Champions League winners doubled his salary to €10.8 million per year.

Vitinha market price

While the reigning European champions would love to keep him, it is said that the club have agreed to let the midfielder leave for approximately €90 million in the summer of 2026, Fichajes said. However, given the star's performance and the kind of money being poured into the market in recent times for talents of Vitinha's age, PSG is most likely to ask for a three-figure amount. As per the Spanish media report, it could be anywhere between €90 and €130 million, depending on the time of year and the contract conditions.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will wait to see if that figure is non-negotiable or not before making a call. Club president Florentino Pérez is aware of Xabi's strong liking for the midfielder. It was not immediately known if he would approve a €100 million+ transfer deal since 2029 is a long way to play the "run out the contract and join for free" strategy that has worked well for the side in recent years.
