Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan's death on Thursday night was a shocker to his fans. It was even more shocking as Hogan's manager had revealed that the wrestler was "doing great" just two days earlier.
WWE Hall of Famer, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was 71. He died of "cardiac arrest", according to hospital authorities. He had undergone a neck surgery in May with reports alleging that he was in a coma and on his deathbed. There are no confirmation regarding whether the surgery had anything to do with his death.

Jimmy Hart reportedly told a close source Hogan can’t speak anymore due to trachea damage.
He’s been moved to his home in a hospital bed with private doctors. Transfer was done in secrecy — unmarked ambulances, garage entry, middle of the night.

Jimmy Hart, who is the longtime manager of Hogan, said on Tuesday, "Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!" Hart, 81, was seen together with Hogan on the January 6, 2025 episode of 'Raw' when it made the Netflix debut.
Hart's X post came after a report on radio host Bubba The Love Sponge's show alleged that Hogan was unwell and could not speak, adding that his sources were "rock solid" and "pretty damn reliable". He went on to claim that Hogan was in the hospital and that he might not make it.

"If you did some sniffing around, you might find him in a hospital near you and it’s not good. I got some pretty reliable information last night that there are phone calls being made to various family members about getting to town to come say your goodbyes," Bubba said about Hogan’s status.
Following his death, WWE posted on X, "WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans."w
