"SKY" managed an unbeaten partnership of 94 runs with his captain Hardik Pandya to take Mumbai Indians to 217/2 in 20 overs after openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton struck explosive half-centuries. He batted in his signature style -- deploying out-of-the-world audacious hits including a scoop over fine leg off Archer that saw the batter falling on the floor. He smashed the last ball of the innings for a six down the ground off Madhwal who otherwise impressed with his yorkers.
