Real Madrid is almost certain of getting on board French talent worth $109 million. However, the player in question is not PSG's star forward Kylian Mbappe.

According to multiple media reports, La Liga leaders Real Madrid's talks with 18-year-old French defender Leny Yoro are near fruition. The teenager is part of Ligue 1 side Lille and Los Blancos is keeping its final cards closer to chest as his current contract expires in June 2025. The asking price is likely to come down over the months as Yoro's contract slowly runs out.

Although PSG is also interested in the local talent, Lille is hellbent on not letting their prodigy join the local giants, Forbes said in a report. This rivalry between the French sides may also work in favour of Firentinp Perez's team.

Leny Yoro is being signed as part of Real's "long-term operation", the news reports add. France's Eduardo Camavinga (21), Turkey's Arda Guler (19), and Brazil's Endrick (17) are some of the players who arrived at Bernabue recently as part of the project. 23-year-old Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies is also expected to join Real from Bayern Munich.
