After becoming the second fastest ₹50 crore Kerala grosser behind Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan, his Drishyam 3 has now surpassed the lifetime earnings of 2018 movie on Day 7 in worldwide collections.

As per figures available till 6 pm, Drishyam 3 has minted at least ₹181 crore in worldwide box office collection in seven days. The lifetime collection of 2018 was ₹180 crore. The latest Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph movie is now the sixth highest grossing Malayalam movie.

Drishyam 3 had bagged ₹170.32 crore till Day 6, when it surpassed the lifetime earnings of Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life (₹157.6 crore).

The top 5 highest grossers in Malayalam are Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (₹303.85 crore), L2: Empuraan (₹266.8 crore), Manjummel Boys (₹241 crore), Thudarum (₹235.25 crore) and Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros (₹235.25 crore).

On Day 7, the net collection was recorded at ₹3.4 crore from 3,518 shows till 6 pm, reports Sacnilk. The final figures will be updated by 10 pm.

On the opening day, the Mohanlal starrer minted ₹15.85 crore, while it raked in ₹11.05 crore on Day 2. The opening weekend saw Drishyam 3 secure ₹13.7 crore on Saturday and ₹13.85 crore on Sunday. On Day 5, it bagged ₹7.7 crore while on Day 6, it dipped slightly to ₹6.45 crore.

The total net domestic collection stands at ₹72.05 crore while the total gross domestic collection was ₹83.69 crore.

L2: Empuraan remains the fastest ₹50 crore grosser in Kerala, a feat achieved in five days. While Drishyam 3 took six days to reach the milestone, Thudarum and Vaazha II made it in eight days. Drishyam 3 has done well in other southern states too. It bagged ₹10.28 crore in Karnataka, followed by ₹7 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and ₹6.35 crore in Tamil Nadu.
