Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who scored an unbeaten hundred against England at Rajkot on Thursday, had a message for teammate Sarfaraz Khan on social media. Jadeja appreciated Sarfaraz for scoring a half-century on his debut and also accepted that it was a wrong judgement from his side that cost the 26-year-old his wicket.

"Feeling bad for @sarfarazkhan97 it was my wring call Well played," Jadeja's Instagram story uploaded around 7:20 PM read. Making his emotions clear, Jadeja added an emoticon of folded hands -- a symbol of apology.

India vs England Test: What happened to Khan at Rajkot?

Sarfaraz was batting in fine form after having scored the joint-fastest fifty by an Indian when he was tragically run out following a mix-up with Jadeja. Batting on 99, Jadeja pushed a fuller delivery from James Anderson towards mid-on region. The experienced all-rounder rushed out to run a single but stopped midway. Sarfaraz was quick to respond at the non-striker's end and thus was well outside the crease when Jadeja decided to retreat. Before Sarfaraz could make it back to safety, Mark Wood hit the stumps at the non-striker's end from close range.  His innings came to an end at 62 from 66.

The entire scene left Indian captain Rohit Sharma fuming in the dressing room. He was seen throwing his cap away in desperation.
