In a major setback to ISL leaders Kerala Blasters FC (KBFC), their overseas attacker Kwame Peprah was ruled out for the remainder of the season. The Ghanese forward suffered a groin injury during the Kochi side's Super Cup contest against Jamshedpur FC on January 15.
"Following a thorough medical assessment, the club announces with regret that Peprah will be unavailable for the remainder of the season. The Club wishes Peprah a seamless rehab and recovery phase," the KBFC said in a statement.
